End of the Line

Hey all, we've been home for almost a week now, and now are waiting for spring semester to start next week. Its hard to believe that the whole month of January has came and went, not to mention that we accomplished so much in that time that seemed to fly by. I was just writing this to say thanks to all of you, with out your help we couldn't have done anything or accomplished any work. It means a lot to me to know that people are willing and wanting to help others in foreign countries they have never heard of. Best of luck the rest of the winter.
Sincerely, Carlos Deligiannides

Keegan Hare- Home.

After a long day of traveling, we made it back to Columbus.  My mother picked me up at the airport, and we are home.

Keegan Hare- Through Security

We made it to Belize City, ate breakfast, and are through security at the airport.

Keegan Hare- Getting Ready to Leave

Having spent two full days on the island, we are up and moving getting ready to leave.  Our time here was fun and relaxing while it lasted, but I am ready to be home.  We are taking the 6:30 (Central Time) ferry back to Belize City, where we will repack our bags and eat breakfast.  Our flight to Houston does not leave till 12:30 ish, so we should have plenty of time to spare. Once in Houston, we have a five hour layover until our flight for Columbus leaves.

Sea Creatures

Snorkeling, and being burnt

So today we went snorkeling all day, we saw turtles, sharks, rays, and plenty of fish. However, one thing that i didn't expect, was getting burnt. I am not one to usually get burnt while being exposed to the sun, but i guess being out all day exposing your back to the sun will do that to you. It was amazing to see all these creatures up close and take pictures of them, I will be posting some on here as soon as I am done with this post! I hope you guys will enjoy it!

Shark attack!

So this was the state of affairs just before I hopped in for snorkeling. We had a lot of fun out on the Caribbean. We saw some great marine wildlife including these sharks and some turtles. Only one of us was able to escape sunburn though... Oh well, it was worth it.
