Progress has been slow so far. Wednesday we went in to Belmopan to talk to a guy who sells solar panels here in Belize, as the solar panels we were going to be installing got waylaid in Panama. We have talked to several different companies since then to try to figure out how to amend that situation.
Thursday we went to Spanish Lookout and had lunch with the director of Education in the Cayo district, and went to a few hardware stores.
Friday we stayed at the inn and started to work on prepping the roof here where we will be building a demonstration system.
Yesterday our plans had to be changed because of the rain, but we did get to go into town for market day, and went out for dinner at a Chinese restaurant.
This morning, we went to the Anglican Church in San Ignacio. Then this afternoon, we went to another Mayan ruin not to far from San Ignacio.
Can't believe we are already almost a full week into this trip. Hopefully some things will start to fall into place this week, but I am definitely having a good time. Looking forward to whatever this week will bring!
